Fred Perry Classic Oxford Shirt - White
Referencing the sharp styles of continental Europe, Oxford cotton’s thick, and lightly-textured construction adds a formal edge to woven shirts. With its straight lines and simple design, the button-down shirt was always part of the Modernist uniform.
In a new, lighter Oxford, this version nods to the Fred Perry shirt in subtle ways : stitch detailing on the button placket, a twin-tipped locker loop and side inserts, and tipped-stitch buttons at the cuff. Made in the classic Oxford shirt colourways, Fred Perry's typical shirt detailing remains, with a box pleat to the back and slim button placket, made to be buttoned to the top.

The Fred Perry brand was born in the late 1940s, when former Austrian footballer Tibby Wegner approached three times Wimbledon champion Fred Perry with an idea. Their initial venture was the very first sweatband, which was quickly adopted by tennis players across the courts of Britain. In 1952 the pair launched what was to be Fred Perry's most famous garment : a slim fit cotton pique shirt with Laurel Wreath embroidery. Today the Laurel Wreath logo is recognisable worldwide, with shops and customers across 50 countries around the globe.
