Founded by the Farah family over 90 years ago in 1920, the family began by making work clothes in the Texas region of the USA and their early successes included earning a contract with the military for uniforms. They still remained to be a fairly anonymous wholesaler and were rooted firmly in the mass production business, catering for heavy industry where they eventually digressed to begin production of denim until the 1970’s and 80’s where the company actually began to struggle on that work wear front and instead made its way to the UK, appearing at football grounds and music festivals rather than the factories and farms.
